ITINERARY: Day 1 June 01: Depart US for Italy Catania with overnight flight
Day 02 June 02: Arrival Catania – Transfer Marina di Ragusa
Arrive at Catania airport. Meet your tour manager and driver your Sicily adventure begins! Transfer to marina di Ragusa with stop along the way for a welcome informal light lunch at local farm. Early afternoon arrival in Marina di Ragusa a seaside town located in the southeastern part of Sicily, Italy. It is a popular destination for tourists, particularly in the summer, thanks to its beautiful beaches, vibrant nightlife, and charming atmosphere. Well-known for its sandy, golden beaches that stretch along the coast. The beachfront is bordered by a scenic promenade lined with palm trees, cafes, and restaurant. Check in into your resort hotel. Time to relax and why not …take a dip in the crystal-clear waters. Welcome dinner at Hotel restaurant. Enjoy the nightlife in Marina di Ragusa, which is livelier during summer. (L, D)
Day 03 June 03: Ragusa
Have an enjoyable breakfast at the Hotel. Enjoy the beach or the pool this morning. If you wish you can discover Marina di Ragusa with your tour manager. Take a walk along the beautiful marina promenade. Have a seaside lunch on own at one of the beachside restaurants and enjoy fresh seafood. In the afternoon we discover the historical heart of Ragusa one of the island's UNESCO World Heritage sites, celebrated for its remarkable Baroque architecture. We visit Ragusa Ibla (Lower Ragusa), the ancient city center, known for its narrow, winding streets and Baroque buildings. After Ragusa have a fun experience at herb farm, going from insightful course in herb farming to an amazing farm-to-table dinner with an unforgettable view. (B,D)
Day 04 June 04: Siracusa
Enjoy your morning breakfast at hotel. Later we depart to discover Siracusa, head to Ortigia it is a small island connected to the mainland by bridges, known for its ancient history, Baroque architecture, vibrant street life, and cultural heritage. See the Piazza del Duomo, the Cathedral, Tempio di Apollo and Fonte Arethusa. Special visit to the fish market Ortigia and its fish market encapsulate the essence of Sicilian culture, blending ancient history with a thriving, modern food scene. Located near the Temple of Apollo, the Ortigia Fish Market is one of the liveliest and most colorful places in the area. Around the market area, you can sample Sicilian street food, such as pane con la milza (spleen sandwich), arancini (fried rice balls), and cannoli. The market has a bustling, energetic vibe, with vendors calling out their goods, locals shopping for the day's meals, and visitors soaking in the sights and smells. Day 05 June 05: Noto & Marzameni
Enjoy breakfast and leisurely morning to relax at beach.
In the afternoon we drive to Noto the triumph of baroque style, a UNESCO heritage site a walk in the city center is an immersion in the virtuosity and magnificence of churches and palaces. Later proceed to Marzameni a picturesque fishing village located on the southeastern coast of Sicily. It is known for its charming atmosphere, rich history, and stunning seaside views. Stroll around the beautiful seaside village, known for its vibrant fishing culture and charming atmosphere. The heart of the village, this picturesque square is surrounded by charming stone buildings, quaint restaurants, and cafes. Enjoy dinner in Marzameni (B, D)
Day 06 June 06: Catania and Naxos (Taormina area)
After breakfast at the hotel, check out direction Giardini Naxos in Taormina area. We visit Catania along the way. The city has a rich cultural, historical, and architectural heritage influenced by various civilizations over the centuries, including the Greeks, Romans, Arabs, Normans, and Spanish. set against the dramatic backdrop of Mount Etna, is renowned for its Baroque architecture, which is reflected in many of its buildings, churches, and squares. Lunch in Catania at local trattoria. After lunch proceed to Giardini Naxos our home for the rest of the trip. Check in, time to enjoy the beautiful hotel pool and the beach. Evening at leisure (B, L)
Day 07 June 07: Taormina
After breakfast we discover Taormina. perched on a hill overlooking the Ionian Sea. Known for its stunning views, historical sites, and vibrant culture. Over the centuries, Taormina has attracted famous visitors such as writers Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, Oscar Wilde, and D. H. Lawrence, as well as modern celebrities. It continues to be a luxurious destination for travelers from around the world. With its mix of ancient history, scenic beauty, and vibrant modern life, Taormina remains one of the jewels of Sicily. Enjoy a guided tour including the ancient Greek Theatre. Day 08 June 08: Winery experience
Today you are free to relax and enjoy the beach or the pool. In the afternoon we reach a local winery on the slpoe of Mount Etna, the fertile volcanic soil produces excellent wines, and many vineyards offer tastings. Visit the winery and enjoy delicious dinner made of local genuine products. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. (B,L)
Day 09 June 09: Savoca
Today after breakfast visit Savoca. It is known for its charming medieval architecture and picturesque landscape. The village is situated on a hill overlooking the Ionian Sea, providing stunning views and a tranquil atmosphere. Savoca gained international fame as one of the filming locations for "The Godfather." Key scenes were shot in its historic streets, including the famous Bar Vitelli, where Michael Corleone proposes to Apollonia. The village retains a traditional Sicilian feel, with narrow streets, stone buildings, and ancient churches. Afternoon and evening at leisure. Farewell dinner at local restaurant (B, D)
Day 10 June 10: Depart Catania
Today after breakfast check out, Transfer to Catania airport for your flight back home. Arrivederci!
