ITINERARY

Day 1: OCT 2 - OVERNIGHT FLIGHT TO EUROPE

Day 2: Oct 3 - ARRIVE IN ATHENS. Arrive at Athens International Airport where your English-speaking escort will greet you. Transfer to your hotel and settle in. Begin your journey in Athens, the cradle of Western Civilization, with a delicious dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Oct 4 - ATHEN CITY TOUR. This morning, drive along the Corinthian Gulf to Corinth, where Apostle Paul lived and preached. Visit the marketplace, church ruins, Temple of Apollo, Museum of Corinth, and Bema Seat of Saint Paul. Continue to Cenchrea, the ancient seaport from which Paul sailed to Ephesus. Return to Athens to explore the Acropolis, including the Parthenon, the Temple of Athena, and Mars Hill where Paul gave his “Men of Athens” speech. Conclude with a driving tour of Constitution Square, Parliament, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Temple of Zeus, the Old Olympic Stadium, and Athens ‘neoclassical buildings. Dinner and overnight in Athens.

Day 4: OCT 5 - CAPE SOUNIO. Enjoy a leisurely morning before heading to Cape Sounio in the afternoon. Discover the beautiful Lake Vouliagmeni and its thermal springs, then visit the majestic Temple of Poseidon overlooking the Aegean Sea. End the day with dinner at a local tavern. Overnight in Athens.

Day 5: OCT 6 - CRUISE TO MYKONOS. Transfer to Lavrio port and embark on a cruise to Mykonos. Explore the island’s charming streets, relax on its beautiful beaches, and soak in the lively atmosphere on your own. Enjoy lunch and dinner on board the cruise ship.

Day 6: OCT 7 - CRUISE TO KUSADASI – PATMOS. This morning, arrive at the port of Kusadasi for a tour of Ephesus, one of the original Seven Churches of Revelation, where Apostle Paul spent two years and wrote his First Letter to the Corinthians. Visit the House of the Virgin Mary and explore Ancient Ephesus. Seethe Magnesian Gate, the Library of Celsus, the Great Theatre, and more. Enjoy free time at the Covered Bazaar of Kusadasi. In the evening, sail to Patmos where St. John wrote the book of revelation. Visit St. John’s Monastery and the Grotto of the Apocalypse. Overnight at sea.

Day 7 - OCT 8 - CRUISE: RHODES. Tradition says that the apostle Paul was shipwrecked here in 51 A.D. while on his journey to preach. Paul's visit to the island of Rhodes has changed its course of history for almost 2000 years (reference in Acts 21: 1). Discover the historic island of Rhodes. Wander through the medieval city, visit the Palace of the Grand Master, the hospital of the Knights, and the Acropolis of Lindos on your own. Enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner on board the cruise ship.

Day 8: OCT 9 - CRUISE: HERAKLION – SANTORINI. The Apostle Paul ended up in Crete because of severe winds (Acts 27:7). Explore Heraklion on Crete and consider an optional excursion to the ancient Minoan Palace of Knossos. Continue to Santorini, known for its stunning views and charming villages. Optionally, visit the village of Oia for a breathtaking sunset. Meals on board.

Day 9: OCT 10 - ATHEN TO ISTANBUL. Return to Athens and disembark. Fly to Istanbul, Turkey, where you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy an orientation walk and a welcome dinner at the Flower Market. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 10: OCT 11 - ISTANBUL TOUR. Begin with a visit to the vibrant Spice Market. Enjoy a Bosphorus Cruise, admiring the wooden mansions, grand palaces, and fortresses along the way. Visit Beylerbeyi Palace and Camlica Hill for panoramic views of Istanbul. Explore the Byzantine Hippodrome, the stunning Blue Mosque, andthe magnificent St. Sophia. Visit Topkapi Palace, once home to Ottoman Sultans, and wander through the bustling Grand Bazaar. Dinner at Hamdi restaurant. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 12: OCT 13 – DEPARTURE. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before transferring to the airport for your departure. Say farewell to Istanbul with cherished memories of your adventure through Greece and Turkey.
